Location:

Looking for a talented and self-motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer for machine design. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing machines in electro-mechanical systems from concept to production.

Job Duties:

Design and implement complex high speed, high precision, electro-mechanical systems in a high-temperature environment.

• Apply principles of mechatronics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.

• Design and specify sensing control equipment.

• Hands-on experience of precision automation and fabrication techniques.

• Test and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Practical experience performing and interpreting FEA & CFD Models.

• Capture drawings in SolidWorks/PDM.

• Lead less-experienced engineers and designers.

• Must be able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Skills/Qualifications:

Required:

• Robotics, Mechatronics, Machine Design.

• Heat Transfer, Hydraulics, Thermodynamics.

• Design for Manufacturing (DFM).

• SolidWorks and PDM.

• Safety compliances, preferably CE.

Preferred skills:

• Additive Manufacturing

• Metallurgy

• Metal Powders

Education/Experience:

Required:

• B.S./M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 5 plus years experience in related fields

Desired:

• Experience in large capital equipment manufacturing

Travel:

The expectation is up to 15%

Relocation:

A relocation package is negotiable.
