Which material alloys are compatible with Area Printing?
All meltable material is feasible with Area Printing, although our initial focus is on metal. Our development roadmap is entirely customer-driven with most common steel, nickel and aluminum alloys (with some other, more novel materials) already in development.
How do I know if my application is suitable for Area Printing?
The value of Area Printing is best illustrated with high volume production parts that are manufactured by traditional or additive methods and where the customer seeks to improve economics, quality and or lead time. Our team of Application experts will help analyze your requirements to support the development of your business case prior to engaging in our Area Printing Production (APP) Program.
Can you print my part?
In order to benefit from the economics of our Area Printing process we focus on high volume contract manufacture, please contact us with your requirements and we'll redirect you to a member of the Commercial team who can talk to you about our Area Printing Production (APP).
How can I buy a Seurat 3D printer?
We do not sell systems for purchase. We are a contract manufacturer producing parts with the Area Printing process.

Area Printing is a Laser Powderbed Fusion (LPBF) process.

What is the build size of Seurat’s 3D printers?
Our Gen 1 system will be 450 mm x 450 mm x 450 mm (xyz), our Gen 2 system will scale to 1.2m x 1.2m x 1.2m (xyz) and we plan to get much larger after that. See the table on Area Printing for more details.
How fast is the Area Printing process?
Area Printing is 10x more productive than today’s LPBF process and our vision is that our Gen 2 system will be 100X more productive.
