James DeMuth
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & CO-FOUNDER
James holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University with a focus on energy systems and high-temperature gas dynamics, and a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University. He has co-authored 145 patents, granted and pending, and 13 academic publications in the fields of additive manufacturing and power generation.
Prior to founding Seurat, James was at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory where he worked on the Laser Inertial Fusion Energy project, and co-invented and developed the core of Seurat's breakthrough technology in Additive Manufacturing.
Kourosh Kamshad
FOUNDING TEAM MEMBER & EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING
Prior to Seurat, Kourosh has participated in an IPO with 4 different Companies in various roles, including VP of Engineering. He has over 35 years of global experience in technical leadership and general management in renewable energy, semiconductor equipment, and automation with an emphasis on commercial development. Kourosh’s specific development experiences with high-speed precision robotics and high temperature silicon ingot furnaces are tightly aligned with Seurat’s technical roadmap. Kourosh has a Masters in Systems Engineering and Engineering Management from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.
Anthony Di Paola
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Anthony brings over 30 years of executive leadership in both industrial and consumer products sectors. As CFO of FGX International he successfully lead the IPO process and then transitioned to CEO were he lead global expansion through organic growth and M&A. He has held executive financial leadership positions at General Electric, Ionics Inc and Thyssen Krupp Elevator and began his career at Ernst & Young. Anthony received his degree in accounting from the University of Rhode Island.
Mike Kenworthy
CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER
Mike brings over 20 years of experience in engineering operations and product development to Seurat. Mike's deep experience in additive manufacturing, aerospace, and automotive industries will accelerate our ability to deliver cutting-edge, scalable, additively produced parts for our customers. Mike holds a Bachelors degree from MIT in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin. In addition to being granted numerous patents, Mike has co-authored a book on additive manufacturing change management and serves on the board of the Additive Manufacturer Green Trade Association (AMGTA). Most recently Mike was Chief Technology Officer at Divergent Technologies, where he led the development of a novel adaptive production system and scaled the team to deliver exceptional results.
Pedro Padilla
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS, PARTS PRODUCTION
Pedro has over 20 years of supply chain and operational experience with global manufacturing companies. He joins Seurat after nearly 5 years at EFI as the Sr. Vice President of Global Supply Chain and Operations, where he led the implementation of a global operations center of excellence to optimize the productivity and profitability of their cutting-edge digital imaging operations. Prior to that role, Pedro spent 2 years at Tesla leading their Gigafactory 1 operations and 16 years at PepsiCo. Pedro holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Philip Bethell
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS, EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING
Philip brings over 25 years of manufacturing and product development leadership to Seurat, having contributed to many groundbreaking products. Most recently as VP of Vehicle Line Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing at Faraday Future he successfully launched the FF91. Prior to that role Phil led advanced manufacturing projects at Tesla for the original Tesla Roadster and Model–S. He started his career at Lockheed Martin, working on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, the F-22 Advance Tactical Fighter and the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Philip earned his Master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems Management from Southern Methodist University and a BS in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from Indiana Institute of Technology.
Tom Burness
VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS SYSTEMS
Tom has over 20 years of experience in the Engineering, Manufacturing, and IT industries. He is a classically trained Mechanical Engineer (BS, Northeastern University), which has proven to be an excellent foundation as he transitioned to IT leadership. His early career focused on engineering systems management at AGFA, followed by a progression of IT roles at GT Advanced Technologies, 1366 Technologies, Safran Aerospace Composites, and Captivate. Tom is a firm believer that IT is a business partner and enabler of organizational success.
